This is a Story of two childhood friends..  Akriti and Sunaina.They share a very strong bond.Something happens and misunderstanding is created which leads to a crack in their friendship.Something happens and misunderstanding is created which leads to a crack in their friendship.Grudges increases day by day.Sunaina tries to mend the gap but Akriti remains angry.They loose contact for years.Sunaina gets detected of Alziemers… which worsened each day.Years pass… by the time Akriti realizes her mistake and now wants to sort things out.This is when Akriti also gets to know anout Sunaina’s condition.But the time has gone.. and its too late now.When she realizes that Sunaina has lost complete memory, even of Akriti’s.Moral- “Admit your mistakes before its too late..”

It’s the journey of the eunuch from ten rupees to one rupee. The film throws light on the attitude of the society towards eunuch as community. This is the story of the eunuch who due to some incident, sets out to live by the standards other than what the society has set out for them to live. It’s the film about the destiny the struggle and at the end the choice made by eunuch. In India eunuch make their living by asking for money to people. This is way for them to survive ,but what happens if someone decides otherwise is what the film is about. Does our society accepts eunuch with open arms is the question.

Despite her poor health she cared for and looked after her husband and kids.The film portrays her struggle to survive and sustain her livelihood after her husband’s accidental death. The film conveys a message and depicts the importance of mother in one’s life.

This is the story about the poor fisher man who lives in the backward village. He has the wife, one son and one daughter. His wife is suffering from disease and his son helps him in fishing. When they get the fishes, that day only they will have food, if they don't get fishes there is no food for them.One fine day he got one fish called Koramenu. Actually he want to serve that fish to his daughter who came from her husband's home, but one big man demands him to sell that fish to him and offers him rice.

NMIFF welcomes the entry of a Short film “Bibhu Sharma’s Story" from India, Directed By Bappaditya Roy.

The film talks about a poignant depiction of today's urban loneliness, where most young working adults are moving away from the family circle, leaving behind their parents, to live their later years in depression and isolation. Bibhu Sharma is one such case, who in spite of spending a significant amount of his time in upbringing of his children, dies in isolation as his children are settled abroad. The tragic fact is, no one in his neighborhood is even aware that he has passed away.
